    Our Philosophy 

    We noticed a lot of division online around food choices, and it never felt right. Get Set Vegan is a gentle, welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable and respected. 

    This isn’t a place for guilt or pressure. Change takes time, and even small choices matter. Skipping meat occasionally, leaving dairy behind, or adding more vegetable-based meals—every step counts. 

    Small choices are powerful. They mean something. Every step, no matter how small, is progress.

    Hello, I’m Hawwa!

    I started Get Set Vegan in 2019 to make plant-based cooking simple, enjoyable, and realistic. I develop, test, photograph, and film all the recipes to make sure they’re foolproof, while my husband, Kashif, a software engineer, handles the technical side. Together, we’ve created a cozy space for delicious meals and practical lifestyle tips. 

    I’m a mother of two and a graphic designer, so creativity drives everything I do—both in the kitchen and on the blog. I’m a bit of an introvert and prefer to keep my family off the internet, so here on Get Set Vegan, the spotlight is all on the Recipes!
